To strengthen our scientific team, we are looking for a postdoc. We currently have an opening for a senior research position (postdoc level) in our in our JLABS@BE mass spectrometry histochemistry (MSHC) facility at the Johnson & Johnson Innovation Center in Beerse (Belgium).
You will provide a critical contribution to this exciting stage of the business development of our young and growing company, as you will help to achieve essential proof-of-concept for clinical applications of our proprietary MSHC technology.
You will directly report to the CSO, working with ProteoFormiX' clients and scientific collaborators for the design and execution of MSHC research projects with a focus on cancer and dementia biomarker discovery research.
You will be involved in all aspects of high resolution MALDI MS imaging experiments, including sample preparation, data collection, data/statistical analysis and reporting.
Amongst others, your responsibilities will be to ensure swift and reliable processes for data storage, data integrity, and overall information flow, and to guarantee optimal technical performance of the analytical equipment.
