Looking back at 2024

A little over a month ago, we said goodbye to another year of ProteoFormiX. Let's look back at some of the moments, events and conferences that shaped those 12 months. Amongst other achievements, 2024 was the year ProteoFormiX presented research results on every continent (apart from Antarctica - as far as we know, penguins remain rather indifferent to the latest mass spectrometry tissue imaging developments).

Throughout the year, ProteoFormiX was invited to hold presentations and participate in workshops at no less than 30 international conferences. We added four peer-reviewed scientific publications to our resume and Peter Verhaert, ProteoFormiX' CSO received two honorary academic appointments - one as part-time associate professor at the Department of Imaging and Pathology of KU Leuven in Leuven, Belgium, and one as visiting professor at the School of Physiology of the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South-Africa.
